Call Sprint to see if they can locate the cell phone. Since he did not use his cell phone for days, the battery may still work.

Re: Call Sprint This is a good idea. Cell phone carriers are required to meet requirements of the FCC's E-911 mandate. Most of Sprint phones have location feature.

Re: Call Sprint Not only can Sprint locate the current location, but it may have record for the history of locations. This is particularly useful if the phone is currently inactive or destroyed. FBI is able to use this feature to find out where a criminal have ever been, and they have solved a number of cases with this feature. Mobile phone company normally doesn't release this kind of information for privacy reason, but I think it is absolutely a possibility. If Sprint can identify the last position, this will be a great help. Good luck, and I will continue watch the progress of this situation.
