Tsinghua Teams Compete in RoboCup, Receive Warm Welcome by TAAG

TAAG President Ms. LU Xiaoyun, Esq., board members Prof. PAN Yi and Mr. PAN Bo visited the RoboCup Tsinghua teams on July 7, 2007 on behalf of TAAG.

RoboCup is an international joint project to promote AI, robotics, and related field. RoboCup '07, held from July 1 to July 10 in Georgia Tech's campus in Atlanta, is a world-wide competition with 197 college senior teams from 26 countries registered and 124 college junior teams from 19 countries.

The TAAG board members brought watermelon and peaches for the Tsinghua students and were delighted to learn that one Tsinghua team entered the final for the rescue competition.

TAAG helped the teams with the reservation of airport transportion services.
