| Dear Friends:
Either a quiet and relaxing summer here, or a busy visit to China, your summer must be fruitful and enjoyable as it should be. Now fall is coming, let's get together to share our experiences and thoughts in summer. Tsinghua Alumni Association of Georgia (http://www.taag.org) has scheduled our next activity on Saturday, September 25th at the Ball Room (3rd floor) of Georgia Tech Student Center. This all-member event will carry our tradition to welcome new Chinese students who come to attend local schools. Atlanta is such a fabulous place that every year we attract tens or even hundreds of Chinese students. They come from out of state, cross Pacific from China, or from other parts of the world. Some of them may have difficulties in a new place. Let us offer our hospitality to these new friends and make their first experience in Georgia more memorable.
Different from the similar event in the past, this year we will add a panel discussion for job hunting and work experience tips for Asian American. The discussion is geared to the Chinese students whom we welcomed a few years ago and who are graduating from local schools. Our panelists and guests would like to share with you our experiences in job hunting and interview, career growth and management, and balance of career and family life. We have speakers that hold academic, technical, or management positions in Georgia Tech, Georgia State University, companies like IBM and Bellsouth. We wish you a good start in your career life.
Lunch is provided for those participants who have reserved in advance and come on time.
